On October 27 2005 CIELAP held its 35th anniversary celebration the King Edward Hotel in Toronto, Ontario.

Glen Murray, former Mayor of Winnipeg and Chair of the National Roundtable on the Environment and the Economy, spoke; and many of those people who have been involved with CIELAP over the years shared their stories and commented on their time with the organization.

CIELAP also presented its Award for Advancing the Environmental Agenda to the NPRI Working Group. The award was presented to Environment Canada; Canadian Environmental Network and the Industry Caucus on behalf of all of the members. Click Here to learn more about our award winners.
